JD Vance Claims He's Protective Father of Daughter,3, While Ripping Away Her Rights

Vance tried to hide behind his child & calls himself pro family while robbing your family of repro freedom, healthcare & education

Donald Trump, JD Vance and all Republican politicians love to sanctimoniously boast that they are the party that “protects” American families and that all their moves to end reproductive healthcare, like abortion bans, are to “protect women.”

Can I just clearly state the truth about all this supposed love for families and women - it’s all a giant crock of s##t !

Republican lawmakers didn’t care one whit about the five young women in Texas and Georgia who were documented to have died during miscarriages or incomplete abortions,.

If they did care, they would have hustled to clarify the language of their extreme abortion bans in those states so doctors wouldn’t be so terrified of 99 year and 10 year jail terms that they delayed providing lifesaving and standard treatments for those women and for other pregnant women in their states

But did Republican legislators in either state, do that?

Nope!

In fact, in Texas, anti abortion zealot Attorney General Ken Paxton - did hustle - all the way to his state’s Supreme Court to appeal two decisions - one, granting Kate Cox the right to abort her fetus with a fatal condition, and secondly, a judge’s clarification of abortion exceptions in the case led by Amanda Zurawski and 19 other women harmed by the state’s abortion ban.

He couldn’t wait to shut those humane court rulings down.

Now, we have “childless cat lady’ hater using his innocent three year-old daughter, Mirabel, as an excuse to accuse peaceful protestors, of terrifying his little girl, because the protestors wanted to speak with their elected vice -president.

I’ve since watched videos of the completely respectful short ‘incident’ in which a group of white middle aged Americans in Cincinnati who were on their way to join a protest against Vance and Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine, ended up encountering the VP, walking with his daughter in a stroller and his Secret Service detail on Sat. March 8.

Vance and his wife, Usha, have a $1.4 million home in the neighborhood.

The protestors asked Vance why he and Trump supported Russia - the aggressor in the Ukraine war - and they pointed out that Russia was also the aggressor invading Crimea, Chechnya and Georgia and starting wars there too.

Crimea is part of Ukraine and yet has been occupied by Russia since its invasion in 2014.

Vance responded that Russia’s ‘invasions’ were that woman’s ‘opinion’. She retorted immediately, that the invasions were ‘facts’, not her opinion.

Unluckily for JD that day, these voters were informed citizens and his lies didn’t stand a chance with them.

The conversation between the protestors and Vance was so unthreatening that JD’s Secret Service members looked relaxed and bored the entire time, in videos of the encounter.

VANCE CALLS HIS CRITICS “SHIT PEOPLE”

Nevertheless, the aggrieved Vance took to Twitter afterwards and called the peaceful Cincinnati Americans who disagreed with him on Ukraine in what he describes as “respectful” - ‘shit’ people.

Can I just point out that those ‘shit’ people from his home state of Ohio, unlike the VP & his master, DT, actually care about the Ukrainian children who have been killed, injured and also kidnapped by Donald Trump’s BFF Vladimir Putin, in a war that he chose to start and continue.

One Twitter person, a Ukrainian -American - even posted a photo of a Ukrainian family murdered by Russian soldiers ( warning, it is an upsetting photo). Apparently the Russians even raped the family’s little 3 year-old daughter and left her naked before they killed her along with her family.

But of course Vance’s hypocrisy - purporting to be a ‘protective dad’ to his 3 year old daughter, Mirabel - is just complete crap , when he has done so much to take away his own daughter’s right to control her own body - as well as literally hurting so many other daughters across the country.

JD Vance has described himself as “100% pro life”. He supports a national abortion ban , which he calls “a national standard” - possibly of 15 weeks - to stop women from crossing state lines to get an abortion.

Vance has claimed that he supports “reasonable exceptions” to allow women and girls to get an abortion but he also defends Texas’s extreme abortion ban which doesn’t allow rape and incest as exceptions.

Instead he declared that “two wrongs don’t make a right” .“It’s not whether a woman should be forced to bring a child to term, it’s whether a child should be allowed to live, even though the circumstances of that child’s birth are somehow inconvenient or a problem to the society,” he told a local Ohio TV station.

I wonder how the family of the 10 year-old Ohio girl, who was raped, felt about Vance’s position that forcing her after a traumatic rape, to then give birth to the rapist’s baby, was just an “inconvenience” that she should be willing to endure.

They certainly didn’t want their own baby to be subjected to more torture like father of 3, JD Vance would have put her through if he had his way.

Since abortion was illegal in Ohio at the time, they took their daughter to Indiana to get the abortion she desperately needed.

My question now is: would Vance protect Mirabel if she was a pregnant rape victim or does his protectiveness as a father only extend to shielding her from middle aged Ohioans who are appalled that he and Trump have abandoned Ukraine?

Now back to the nonsense that Vance and Republican lawmakers as a whole are the “pro family party”.

Fact: Vance never bothered to show up to a Senate vote on a Bill that would have protected access to IVF nationally even though Donald Trump declared that he was the “father of IVF” during the presidential campaign.

He was absentee despite his multiple proclamations that married Americans need to have more children. The government should “make it easier for young moms and dads to afford to have kids, to bring them into the world and to welcome them as the blessings that we know they are”, he declared at the National March For Life rally in Washington D.C, this past January.

You would think that if he truly believed that, he would have made it a priority to protect IVF - the only way that 2 % of families are able to conceive children each year.

But noooo - 100 % pro life Vance only cares about restricting women’s rights to make their own reproductive decisions - he doesn’t want to help them when they have fertility issues and are desperate to have a baby.

Hypocrite.

Then there is the fact that 105 minors had to flee the state of Texas in the first half of 2023 to get a needed abortion and six of those teens were 11 and under.

If Mirabel gets pregnant accidentally as as the result of a rape or incest before she is 18, will her father help her escape to a pro choice state for an abortion?

Will he protect her from having to undergo a high risk pregnancy and childbirth?

Girls under 16 are five times more likely to suffer from eclampsia (a dangerous condition associated with high blood pressure that causes seizures in pregnancy).

And their babies were more likely to be born below 37 weeks, suffer from low birth weights and to need extra care in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), according to a study by UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Just how far would JD Vance be willing to go to be a caring protective father if truly being one would interfere with his own political career?

SUPPOSEDLY PRO FAMILY REPUBLICANS SLASH HEALTHCARE FUNDING

All I can tell you if that the “pro family” party is the one that bans abortions and yet now wants to slash Medicaid funding which covers the cost of 41% of all childbirths in the country and provides health coverage to 39% of America’s children.

Republicans don’t support paid family leave for women after they give birth, they have no proposals to make day care affordable, they support Donald Trump’s plan which is already underway, to abolish the Board of Education which provides funding for public schools to provide instruction and to accommodate students with disabilities.

The federal Board of Education also provides extra funding to schools in low income communicates so that they can also provide a quality education to their students.

Also on the chopping block from Elon Musk and the “pro family” Republicans who want to end the highly successful Head Start early education program for 800,000 children 3 to 5 from low income families.

Have I provided enough evidence of the bull shittery that Trump, JD Vance and the Republican party are “ pro family” in real life?

They aren’t.

The reality is that all of them are anti- woman, anti child, anti family and anti education.

Railing against trans girls in sports, drag queens who read story books to kids, banning books from school libraries that contain any LGBTQ content and banning abortions - doesn’t make you pro family.

It just means that you are misogynist and bigoted.

And that’s the sad truth about Vance and all Republicans today.
