Thank you Judy. It may come to that, but I fear too for all the trans people in America, who wouldn't be able to come to Canada if conditions here become impossible for them here. This isn't right. They should be able to live healthy, fulfilled lives here imn their own country!

We all imagine that if only a MAGA had a LGBTQ child they would come to understand the reality of their “organic” existence, and yet we continue to come across people like Musk who choose to abandon their child rather than accept reality.
It’s beyond comprehension that people have so much fear about something that does not concern them, and they are willing to accept the infinite diversity in all of God’s creation except in the case of gender and gender identity, despite the great abundance of evidence they’ve been exposed to since first interacting with other human beings.

As a middle aged, 1%, white, Christian, male ally, with no LGBTQ relations in my family but many who I have watched grow up from young children and many more I have worked with over the years, I think we need to shift the stigma and prejudice to the ignorant bigots where it belongs and reclaim Christianity as the religion of love and acceptance that it was meant to be.
Without the hateful influence of the religious right, I don’t suspect that Trump, as a populist demagogue, would hold an opinion on LGBTQ people.
