So many women on the right have betrayed themselves and every woman in the world. Allowing men to monitor, imprison and abuse women.

So hard to understand. They somehow think that they and women and girls they care about will never be affected by these bans. Or they are truly zealots and believe that it is OK if they and women they care about suffer and die. It is for a higher cause.

That’s Texas for you! The most corrupt state government is going to TRY again to control women. I’m really ashamed to live in Texas but I have no choice right now.

They are trying except hard to control women! That’s 51% of the population. If they start with co controlling women it makes it easier to control everyone else that doesn’t buy into their white patriarchal Christian Nationalist ideology.

Fix this by NEVER voting for a Republican again in your live time. You put a Republican/MAGA in office, you get this. FACT

I was familiar with quite a bit of this, although not the specific law and the 100-year-throwback that fits right in with the Texas mentality. What I don't understand is how Texas has any right to legislate control of what happens in another state. Not a Texan, but I live in a red state.

They don’t have that right but they will try anyway.

I realize that there’s very little rational about the current regime, not to mention that the man who took an oath twice to the the Constitution has no idea what it says, but I remember wondering the same thing the first go-round of this with the TX legislature. They’re just bonkers.

This is my question on that. If a woman can be jailed for having an abortion, then why shouldn’t Anti Vaxxer parents be sent to jail for refusing to have their children vaccinated for measles, and charged with involuntary manslaughter if their children die from not being vaccinated? Remember this is Texas. Texas wanted to pass a law that women could be charged with murder for aborting a pregnancy.

WTF?

Fuck Texas🤢🤮

Agree. Why don’t they but that’s the extreme hypocrisy. They believe in parental rights not to vaccinate your kids but no parental rights when u support your child that needs gender affirming care. They ban forced masking during a pandemic since they ‘believe’ in bodily autonomy’ but support forced birth. When it comes to abortions or miscarriage care, the state robs women of bodily autonomy!
